Due to this, she has few living friends, but many dead ones.
She doesn't care though, since the dead have less to hide than the living and appreciates their unbridled honesty, even when it's insults. (...Okay, not all the time, but she does appreciate it.)
She's appointed herself as the official welcoming party to those who died, and consults them in managing their afterlives.
